Francis LaMorte brings 30 years of extraordinarily distinguished experience in healthcare, bringing a unique blend of world-class medical and business acumen to every engagement. Previously, he was a director with a global turnaround and performance improvement firm, leading high-profile transformation projects for academic medical centers, health systems, and healthcare corporations. Prior to that, he served as Executive Chairman of EMA, LP, then the nation’s second largest physician partnership.  He is a graduate of Princeton University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and the Yale University School of Management.

Notable accomplishments include:

  • Appointment by CMS to control of one of the nation’s largest public hospitals under a systems improvement agreement
  • Creation of detailed profitability analysis and transformation plans for national provider companies
  • Conduct of deal due diligence for publicly traded hospital operators
  • Conceptualization of one of the earliest hub and spoke strategies for an ACO
  • Development of comprehensive service line strategies for several regional health systems
  • Leading several transformation projects at an academic medical center as part of a public-private partnership converting it into an investor-operated enterprise
